About Hisham
A regional storyteller with a strategist’s ear.
I’m a Dubai-based writer, interviewer and messaging consultant working across the Gulf’s public and private sectors.
My role is often to sit with the people closest to an idea, ask the questions that uncover what matters, and shape the result into language that respects both the subject and the audience.
I am also co-founder of HWM, a specialist consultancy for organisation-wide messaging, media training and presentation skills.
The proposition
The work begins before the first sentence.
I specialise in understanding what matters, finding the narrative and making complex ideas clear enough to move people.
I work with executives, government entities, corporate teams and production partners across the Middle East. Sometimes the outcome is a speech. Sometimes it is a film, an article, a case study or a critical page on a website. In every case, the task is to turn your company’s expertise and ambition into language with purpose.
“Words are the mechanism but the real service is clarity.”

Behind the words
“The best writing usually begins with a better conversation.”
I interview, listen, challenge and look for the details that makes a narrative human. That is where powerful stories normally start.
How we get there
From source material to something people remember.
01
Discover
Who needs to hear this—and what should change afterwards?
02
Extract
Find the expertise, tension and telling details hidden in the material.
03
Shape
Build the narrative, argument and voice before polishing the sentences.
04
Write
Refine together until the words are clear, credible and ready to travel.
A few useful answers
Before we begin.
Speeches, scripts, thought leadership, executive interviews, corporate narratives, case studies, annual-report narratives and selected high-value web copy.
Yes. Much of my work begins with specialist source material. The job is to keep the substance while creating a clear story for the people who need to understand it.
Yes. Interviews and existing material help me capture the person’s vocabulary, cadence and point of view rather than impose a generic corporate tone.
Organisation-wide messaging, media training and presentation-skills programmes are delivered through HWM, the specialist consultancy I co-founded.
